Application
Quinaldine is used in the preparation of oil soluble dyes. These dyes are used in colours for petroleum products, plastic synthetic fibres and smoke colours. Quinaldine is also used in the production of Quinoline Yellow WS, a food color. Quinaldine Sulphate is used as anaesthetic in the transportation of Fish. Quinaldic Acid is an intermediate in the production of antiviral drugs and narrow range pH indicator.
